I didn't realize it was on a main road into Canterbury, but the hotel was clean, comfortable, warm, and offered a good selection of food and beers. The staff were friendly and helpful, although they could be a bit noisy while climbing on the loft. The location was further out than expected but very good, only 25 minutes from the Ferry. The dining experience was continental and included in the price, with a variety of options available, though there were limited croissants on Saturday.

The hotel had clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds, but the heat made it challenging to sleep well. The service was friendly, polite, and helpful. The location was good for those with a car and near the city center, but issues with the hot towel rail were noted. The dining experience was a mix of delicious food but also some disappointments left outside overnight. Facilities seem adequate overall.

The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful, always making time to chat and assist. However, there was a slight delay in being attended to at check-in, which could have been better.
